In the Hautes-Alpes, the ski station Les Orres is situated at the heart of a larch forest and offers a superb view over the Lac de Serre-Ponçon and the Embrun valley. Accommodation is mainly spread out around the centre of the station at 1650m and in the area of Le Bois Méan at 1800m.
Skier or non-skier, a multitude of activities are on offer at the station: downhill skiing (100km of slopes), a snow park, an ice-rink, snake-gliss, snowshoe walks, ski-joëring (let yourself be towed on skis by a horse!), paragliding etc. And if you're less adventurous and more inclined to relax, treat yourself to a massage, spa or sauna! Don't miss the toboggan descent, the "Orrian Express", a 710m height drop over a 1500m descent for an adrenaline rush for the whole family!
For young children, a child-care centre looks after your children from 6 months upwards.
To conclude, Les Orres is a ski station at the height of technology with over 100 WiFi points throughout the station; enough to make your friends at home green with envy!
