On the doorstep of the Camargue region, Le Grau du Roi is a small fishing village in the Gard that has become a popular seaside resort with 18km of fine sandy beach. Visitors can watch the trawlers and fishing boats arrive in the harbour and experience the sights and sounds (!) of the fish market.
Not faraway, Port Camargue is one of Europe's largest marinas and visitors will enjoy strolling around the quays and surrounding park areas.
Le Grau du Roi - Port Camargue is also the ideal starting point for exploring the Camargue: a magnificent wetland area populated with bulls, horses and pink flamingos.
